Disc brake conversion on Willys Dana 25/27 Part 1

Check out the updated HD video here: www.youtube.com Here we're going over a few details on the disc brake conversion on a Willys station wagon (same for CJ-2A/3A/3B and pickup). We use 1976-1977 Jeep CJ rotors (the older thicker ones) with the same 5x5.5" bolt pattern, with 6 bolt GM 1/2 ton brake backing plates. These GM backing plates mount straight to the knuckle with no modification. We use 1970s GM 1/2 ton 4x4 calipers, brake lines, and pads. Stay tuned for another video on the requirements for the master cylinder and brake line setup (may battery on my BlackBerry died).

Dingo Brake Conversion - Disc Brakes

Here I start a series on converting drum brakes to Disc brakes on a Manco Dingo. I am doing this because the existing brakes are, well, non-existent. That is, they don't work at all. I had a disc brake caliper laying around in the garage so I am going to use it. I had to order a disc to slide onto the 1" keyed axle shaft and since I am doing that I might as well replace the axle bearings, the sprocket and other things.
