Modified Yerf Dog's maiden voyage
My Yerf Dog go kart's first time out after mods. Beating on it to find weaknesses, and I found a few ;-) All the fun ended when the CVT belt disintegrated and went up in smoke (at end of video). I was doing donuts for 2-3 minutes non-stop before this video was made, as well as some moderate drifting. Like I said- beating on it to find weaknesses. This video really doesn't show how mean I was to this thing. The $220 torque converter has been installed and in use for maybe an hour total. I don't think it was designed for this sort of abuse :-) I hope the belts are cheap! Modifications: Converted to single seater/center driver, racing seat, hubs to mount 18"x8.5"-8" golf cart wheels/tires, hydraulic disc brake kit, electric start 13HP GX390 clone with custom high-flow exhaust, torque converter (CVT). With 11HP GX340, 42-tooth sprocket, and centrifugal clutch: 55MPH top speed. Currently with 13HP, 52-tooth sprocket, and CVT: No recorded data yet.

Pulling Up in the 5L Miata
1991 Mazda Miata MX-5 converted to fit a late model Fuel Injected Mustang 302 5L motor using the kit from www.monstermiata.com. T5 Transmission, differential is 7.5 inch 373 gear limited slip. All-wheel disk brake. Ram air turn signals and Flowmaster dual exhaust. STP a/c delete. Convertible is ripped. Needs new cd player. Hydraulic clutch. 110K miles on Mustang motor (1992). 1991 Miata has 153996 on the body. Partially original paint (white portion). Single owner prior to engine swap and conversion, interior very clean. Unibody frame of Miata has been upgraded to handle the extra torque of the V8 engine by suspensi Has a custom shortened drive shaft, new axle spacers, Broached hubs, thermal coated headers, aluminum custom radiator, new clutchmaster cylinder, new modified oil pan, new custom front springs, custom rear end hanger, sway bar on custom mounts. Thicker rear axles. Recently replaced exhaust (October 2009).

The Year 2000.....an the Motor build Time Warp! My 412 Camero goes 10.8 street tires mufflers but get's 4 miles to the gallon gas !! Time for Gas efficient race car again...I sell the Camero an trailer for $6000 no motor The 87' GN comes out of storage an the car goes to John at Bowling Green Custums in Alt GA,Had a complete machine shop build from Boyde Automotive here in FL with,stock block, steel main,large valve ported stock heads. John has it 4 years, charges me $14000 for Yeap,straight from his shop a Wiped camshaft!!! 2005....... Car goes to KDK Performance in FL Gone to billet roller cam.$8000 rebuild,car blows up 1/2 track at 110mph. I take up a new hobby of Astrophotagraphy...3 total rebuilds all i paid for,dynoed,tested by Kevin,then to the track same thing, 1/2 track grenade First Run !! 4th new motor bought an paid for, i pull car out KDK,spent over $30000 in cash an parts totaling over 3 years,I take KDK to court an win. 2008........ I call Cal Hartline,He recommends Lamotta performance. The new motor from KDK goes straight on the dyno an BOOM!! head gasket launches as all the times before. I asked Jake at Lamotta if he can fix it, an add Posten GNX style dash an new Front mount intercooler,6 months later motors done at Heartbeat racing engines,Even though Lamottoa dropped my motor to him for whatever reason i had to go pick it up from the machinist .(that cost the tranny in my Tahoe!)After Lamotta installs the motor an fires it,I expressibley told him to ...
